Established in January 2013, #edteach is a Twitter hashtag dedicated to connecting and developing pre-service teachers. The intent of #edteach is to help future teachers develop a vibrant Professional Learning Network and connect with educators worldwide. We encourage educators to use the #edteach hashtag when sharing resources, opinions and links via Twitter and invite educators to join us for our bi-weekly chats (more information in the Schedule and Archives section).

This began a professional working relationship between Jayme and Kurtis, completely online and focused on how to best engage pre-service teachers in two countries. From those first conversations, #edteach was born.
